FAQ – Frequently Asked Questions

🔹 What is CryptoCoin (CC)?

CryptoCoin is a deflationary ERC-20 token with a maximum supply of 27 million, mined using virtual GPUs within a gamified ecosystem. Its mechanics are inspired by Bitcoin’s original supply and halving model.

🔹 How do I start mining?

  1. Acquire CC tokens via the private sale or Uniswap.

  2. Use CC to buy a GPU directly or open a Mystery Box.

  3. Once you own a GPU, it will start mining automatically.

  4. You can claim your mined CC at any time.

🔹 What is a Mystery Box?

A Mystery Box is a loot-box-style item that contains a random GPU. There are 4 rarities:

Sapphire 1690

Each box has a chance to give you a GPU with hash power appropriate to its rarity.

🔹 How are mining rewards calculated?

Mining rewards depend on:

  • Hash power of the GPU (10–100)

  • Time elapsed since last claim

  • The global mining rate, which halves as more tokens are mined

The mining formula ensures that the more powerful your GPU and the longer you wait, the more you earn — up to a fair, controlled limit.

🔹 What is a halving?

Halving is a mechanism where mining rewards are reduced by half after key milestones:

  • The first halving happens at 13.5 million CC in circulation.

  • Further halvings follow the same pattern, just like Bitcoin. This ensures that CryptoCoin becomes increasingly scarce over time.

🔹 Can I use multiple GPUs?

Yes. Each GPU will generate its own rewards based on its individual power.

🔹 Can I sell or transfer my GPUs?

Yes. GPUs are NFTs and can be transferred, sold, or traded on any compatible marketplace.

🔹 Is the mining really on-chain?

Yes. All mining logic, reward distribution, halvings, and GPU ownership are handled 100% on-chain, ensuring transparency and decentralization.

🔹 Are there any risks or limits?

  • Mining is subject to global halving events and reward dilution over time.

  • A GPU’s power and reward potential are capped to ensure fair gameplay.

  • The contract includes security protections like reentrancy guards and ownership checks.
